On our 10th year, The Village was opened on Waiting Day 2016 thanks to the help of many skilled people who spent many months turning an old shed into the destination spot it is today. The dream for The Village was for it to be a community hub that would provide an array of services to the growing Whatawhata community. The Village is constantly expanding and growing to fit the needs of our community.
The Village has so much to offer; set 10 minutes outside of Dinsdale in a tranquil rural setting it is the perfect place to escape with friends and kids to enjoy great food and great coffee. Exeptional food and service and selling award winning Altura coffee by fully trained baristas. There’s heaps for kids to do; colouring, feeding farm animals, playing on the playground, and much more.
We host a range of small businesses on site including Global Vets, Contact Care, Recycled Clothing Boutique, Over The Moon, Jill and Ange fashion, Dragon works,
We have helped many small businesses showcase and sell their products.
