The Village was opened on Waiting Day 2016 thanks to the help of many skilled builders and volunteers who spent many hours turning an old shed into the destination spot it is today. The dream for The Village was for it to be a community hub that would provide an array of services to the growing Whatawhata community. The Village is constantly expanding and growing to fit the needs of our community.
The Village has so much to offer; set 10 minutes outside of Dinsdale in a tranquil rural setting it is the perfect place to escape with friends and kids to enjoy great food and great coffee. There’s heaps for kids to do; colouring, feeding farm animals, playing on the playground, and much more.
