For table bookings please call us on 07 829 8892 or flick an email to us at cafe@thevillage.kiwi and wait for confirmation. If you have a large party or are wanting a table for either Saturday or Sunday it is advised that you book a few days in advance. Feel free to bring your own cake if the booking is for a special occasion.
Host a birthday party at The Village!
Take the stress out of hosting a party and let us do the dishes for you!
With an array of food options and platters to suit everyone plus a huge playground, The Village Cafe is an ideal location for a kids birthday party. To book a Birthday party please email cafe@thevillage.kiwi and request a functions form. Once we receive a completed functions form we will be able to confirm your booking. If you would like us to provide decorations the fee is $50 and will include balloons, streamers, etc in the colors of your choice (the party must be for a minimum of 10 children). Otherwise you can decorate as you please. If you have an special requests or want further information please call us on 07 8293019.
Pop-Up Shops at The Village

The Village is pleased to announce that we are making our cabins available as Pop-Up shops.
These cabins are approx 2.5m deep x 3.5m wide, and are available for short-term rental.
If you have a budding business, a room full of pieces of art, a sports massage practice, or you sell handmade leather hand bags, this could be the ideal space for you to share your work with the wider community!
Our priority will be for locally made products/ services, and will extend to imported goods provided there is sufficient evidence that you are adding value or it is a unique product.
Food products will only be permitted provided the items are made in a certified kitchen, and you have the appropriate food safety certs. Food prepared or served on site and liquor are not permitted.

Wild River @ Co
The Amazingly talented girls Narelle and Dida at Wild River & Co make the most wonderful fresh and dry flower arrangements. The also sell a host of other gifts and beautiful plants. Make sure your visit them at The Village next time.
Easter Hours at The Village
Happy Easter!
The Village Cafe will be closed Easter Friday through until Monday.
The Village Farm Shop are closed Easter Friday through until the following Thursday.
The Village Boutique are closed from Easter Friday until Tuesday.

K9’s & Coffee
The Village Farm Shop along with 4UR Paws, Woofas Doggone Delights and Kool K9 training Ltd would like to invite you and your dog out for a coffee at The Village Cafe.
Shinneal and Megan will be available to help you chose the best treats and accessories for your pooch.
It’ll be a great chance to meet other dog owners, swap ideas on training, and talk behaviour with Joanne, all while enjoying the atmosphere of The Village.
As per council regulations all dogs must be on a lead. And we don’t want any dogs left htied up alone, this is a day for you and your pooch to hang together!

Christmas Hours for The Village Businesses
With the arrival of Christmas just around the corner we thought now was a good time to fill you on on our business hours over the festive season.
However, firstly we’d like to thank you for your support of our fledgling businesses over the past 11 months. Without your regular trips in and the introduction of your friends and family to The Village our year could have looked quite different!
The Village Cafe will be closed from 2pm on Christmas Eve, reopening on Jan 7th at 8am.
The Village Farm Shop will be closed from 4.30pm on Friday December 23rd, reopening on Janurary 13th at 9.30am. Open Fri, Sat and Sunday’s only until Feb 7th when they will resume regular hours.
The Village Boutique will be closed from Christmas Eve and will reopening on Janurary 10th.
We we wish you a relaxing and enjoyable time this festive season, and look forward to seeing you after our breaks!

The Village Coming Soon!
The Village is currently underway and all going well will be the hub of the Whatawhata community by December 2015.
The Village consists of three businesses all offering services which will enhance the experience locals have and build strong connections.
A team of skilled workers and generous volunteers are working at 1 Rothwell Lane, making changes to the buildings and beautifying the gardens in perpation for the opening a few weeks away!
